Places are available at the Society’s Annual Oxford Conference which will be held at St Catherine’s College, Oxford from 2pm on Friday 10 to 11.30am on Sunday 12 September, 2010. The conference will cover current industrial relations law and practice, the new Equality Act and Code of Practice and Surveillance in the workplace and other human rights issues. There will also be a number of practical workshop sessions. The conference is accredited with 10.5 CPD hours from the BSB and SRA. To pay by cheque please download booking form and send together with cheque (made payable to Industrial Law Society) to the Society's co-ordinator, Jean Hughes at 18 Graysmead, Sible Hedingham, Essex, C09 3NY. The Conference fee includes accommodation, all meals from evening dinner on Friday to breakfast on Sunday and a disco. The Society is pleased to announce that the cost of the conference will remain unchanged this year at £350 for members, £400 for non-members and £195 for full-time student members. Furthermore, the Society is offering up to twenty subsidised places at the conference to members who are either full-time academics (at Senior Lecturer/Reader level or below) or are employed full-time in the voluntary sector. The fee for these members will be £250.
