This meeting will be held at The Old Council Chamber, (first floor of Wills Memorial Building) at University of Bristol. The meeting will start at 6pm, finishing after Q&A at about 7.30pm. Refreshments will be served after the meeting has concluded and we very much hope you will be able to stay for a drink and chat afterwards.
Matt will provide an update on the current law regarding corporate and personal liability for whistleblowing and other detriments and automatically unfair dismissals.
The session will include a discussion of the arguments in Royal Mail Group v Jhuti, in which Matt was junior counsel, as well the position for claimants following Timis v Osipov.
As the University of Bristol have most kindly agreed to host the meeting on behalf of the Society both members and non-members of the Society can attend the session for free.
